Do you miss us? 🌙 We’ll be at @woodlawnfarmersmarket on Valentine’s Day 2/14 11am-2pm 💘 This indoor market at @classicfoodsportland will be full of all kinds of treasures and treats. with dried flower heart wreaths (minis too!), spring circle wreaths, flower crowns, and fairy flower jars with my curated collection Lenten roses and other local flowers that may be in bloom by then. Come stop by, even if it’s just to say hello! I’d love to meet all the new people who have followed.

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself. I’m Lizzie ✨ the floral designer & grower of Little Moon Floral 🌙 I grow flowers in the surrounding gardens of my Milwaukie/Oak Grove home, nestled between tall oaks. Sun light is scarce but I’m pretty creative with my set up and learning every day to maximize the flowers grown in my small space. We are no till, pesticide free, and home to all kinds of animals, insects and birds. I have a loving husband and 3 little boys under 6 years old, who often help at markets, digging in the dirt or help with flowers. I create wedding florals for whimsical brides and garden weddings, and attend farmers markets where I sell fresh cut flowers, and dried floral creations (wreaths, flower crowns, everlasting bouquets, and much more). I have my MFA in fiction and creative nonfiction, and work as a program manager for volunteer programs. Creating with flowers is not just creating product, it’s a way I connect with nature, seasonal shifts, and my own heart. This flower business though is not a hobby, but a dream come true, and I think about flowers from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep at night. More than just loving blooms for their beauty, I have found so many wonderful people in our local community that are passionate about being good human beings and creating fine art with living mediums 💐.
